About David
Professional vocal experience translated into thoughtful teaching.
Originally from Donegal, David studied Music at the University of Aberdeen and developed extensive experience as a tenor across cathedral, chamber, opera and concert settings.
His singing lessons can support breath coordination, posture, resonance, diction, tone, range, repertoire, interpretation and confidence. Technique is developed in service of communication rather than as a collection of isolated exercises.
David also teaches piano lessons, helping students build reading, rhythm, keyboard coordination, musical understanding and expressive control. His experience as a singer gives both vocal and piano students a strong route into phrasing, listening and performance awareness.
