Contact The Glasgow School of Music
Choose the right route for trial lessons, existing student support, account questions, safeguarding matters and school administration.
Choose the right enquiry route
Most enquiries fit one of three routes. Choosing the closest option helps the school respond properly and keeps trial requests, current student support, accounts and safeguarding matters moving through the correct process.
Request a Trial Lesson
For new students ready to begin. Submit the trial lesson form so we can collect the student’s subject, level, goals and availability before confirming the most suitable route into one-to-one tuition.
Existing Student or Parent Support
For current families asking about scheduling, planned absences, lesson arrangements, tutor communication, school administration or questions relating to an existing weekly placement.
Account, Admin or Safeguarding
For payments, invoices, balances, account administration, visit arrangements, safeguarding, welfare, PVG or formal school enquiries requiring direct support from the school.
Contact the school directly
Use this form for existing student support, account questions, planned absences, safeguarding matters, visit queries and school administration. New students ready to begin should use the dedicated trial lesson route.
Send a Message to the School
We use enquiry details to respond to your message, route your query correctly and manage school administration.
Many common questions are answered in our lesson structure and policy pages
These pages explain trial lessons, tutor matching, weekly tuition, payment structure, planned absences and school policies.
Common questions before getting in touch
A short guide to the best route for new students, existing families and tutor applicants.
What is the best first step for new students?
Request a trial lesson so we can review the student’s instrument or subject, current level, goals and general availability before confirming the most suitable route.
Should existing students contact their tutor or the school?
Teaching questions can usually go to the tutor, but absences, scheduling, payments, account queries and administration should be sent to the school directly.
Do I need an appointment to visit?
Yes. Lessons and visits are arranged in advance so we can manage teaching schedules, room availability and student safety properly.
Where can I read the lesson policies?
The Terms & Conditions explain the formal policy position for lesson blocks, payments, planned absences, cancellations and other school expectations.
How should tutors apply?
Tutors should apply through the dedicated application page and include their CV, teaching experience, instruments or subjects and general availability.
