GSofM Academy · Resource Library

Resources that support the work between lessons.

Free guides, planners and journals for parents and students.

The GSofM Academy Resource Library gives families practical support before the first lesson, during weekly practice and across the longer learning journey.

The strongest progress is built between lessons.

A lesson gives direction. The work between lessons turns that direction into progress. These resources help families understand what to do before, during and after weekly tuition.

The library is not a substitute for teacher-led instruction. It gives parents and students a clearer structure so that lesson notes, practice targets and longer-term progress are easier to manage.

Practice is where the lesson becomes learning.

Start broad, then move into practice.

The first resource gives families the whole picture. The next four become increasingly practical: first-lesson preparation, better practice, weekly planning and longer-term journaling.

A practical sequence for real families.

Parents do not need to become teachers. Students do not need more pressure. The purpose of the Academy resource set is to make the next step visible.

Parent understanding

Use RES-001 first.

Start with the parent guide to understand expectations, teacher fit, practice support and the wider learning journey.

First lesson readiness

Use RES-002 before attending.

The first-lesson guide helps the student arrive prepared, calm and clear about what the trial or first lesson is for.

Home practice structure

Use RES-003 to RES-005 together.

The practice guide explains the method, the planner structures the week, and the journal records progress over time.

A growing educational layer around weekly tuition.

The Resource Library is part of the wider GSofM Academy. It sits alongside theory support, structured practice tools, parent guidance, future workbooks and student learning pathways.

As the Academy grows, this page can become the public hub for guides, planners, theory resources, exam preparation and structured learning tools.

Lessons in music, skills for life.

Connect the resources to real lessons.
