Home Setup
Your room does not need to be a studio.
It does need to let the tutor see and hear enough to teach properly. A stable internet connection, secure device, functioning camera and microphone, suitable lighting and the correct instrument or working materials are the essentials.
The exact setup depends on the subject. Piano needs a useful keyboard view; theory may require screen or paper sharing; singing requires enough visual and audio information for meaningful feedback.

Position the device around what the tutor needs to observe.
A normal video-call angle is not always a useful music-lesson angle. The tutor may need to see hands, posture, keyboard, notation or a wider physical setup rather than only the learner’s face.
