Do I need a PVG to teach at GSofM?

Yes. Tutors must hold appropriate PVG membership before teaching at The Glasgow School of Music. Safeguarding is treated as an essential professional requirement.

Do I need previous teaching experience?

Teaching experience is strongly preferred, but we also welcome applications from capable musicians with excellent communication skills and a clear student-focused approach.

Which instruments are currently in demand?
