Instrument Rental – Key Terms (Summary)

Rental period: Charged weekly or monthly as stated on your invoice. Rental continues until the instrument is returned and checked in.
Payment: Rental fees must be kept up to date. Overdue balances may result in the instrument being recalled.
Care of instrument: You agree to take reasonable care of the instrument, storing it safely and avoiding extremes of temperature or moisture.
Damage: Minor wear is expected. Significant damage, repairs, or neglect may be chargeable at our discretion.
Loss or theft: If the instrument is lost or stolen, you must inform us as soon as possible. You may be liable for replacement costs.
Insurance: We strongly recommend insuring the instrument for its replacement value while in your care.
Returns: Returns must be arranged in advance and handed back to a GSofM staff member, not left unattended.
Exchanges: Size or instrument swaps can be requested and are subject to availability and updated pricing.
Termination: We reserve the right to terminate the rental if fees are unpaid or the instrument is not being cared for appropriately.
