GSofM matched me with an excellent clarinet teacher, which matched exactly my needs. The School is well organised, flexible, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
As a tutor, the GSofM is a great place to be if you want to learn how to play a musical instrument. The teachers are highly skilled and the atmosphere is friendly. Jacopo
My daughter has been taking flute lessons with Olivia for nearly a year. Olivia’s incredible patience and positive encouragement has been instrumental in keeping my daughter engaged and interested in the instrument and in learning to read music. I cannot express how grateful I am for the uplifting, positive influence she has on my child. The consistent, positive interactions she has had with Olivia has done wonders for her self-esteem and helping her settle into life in a new country. We couldn’t be happier with Olivia.
A wonderful school that adapts to what you want to learn while always finding a way to draw out the technique, knowledge, confidence, and fun.
Paul is a passionate, inspiring, and very talented teacher and his love and dedication for Music is apparent in his teaching. I would highly recommend Paul to everyone and I regret that I did not find him sooner. Paul is an excellent teacher with highly professional skills. He is very knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality. It is clear he works well with children and makes the lessons very enjoyable for them, whilst praising their accomplishments the children feel inspired and motivated after every lesson. The thing I like about Paul is his ability to make my children feel at ease and the way he never makes them anxious about making mistakes, but, in a gentle and encouraging way, he is able to get the most out of them.
It was after getting a Piano that I felt inspired to take lessons for myself, and, I'm glad I did. Paul is knowledgeable, professional and an amazing teacher. I feel very comfortable with him as he is very patient and flexible - he has unlocked my potential. I'm now able to play and appreciate amazing piece such as Prelude in g minor by Rachmaninoff, to which I'm studying just now. I feel so fortunate to have an opportunity to take lessons with Paul and would highly recommend him.
“To me, Paul is an AMAZING piano teacher. He never gives up on and can be really inspiring to young pianists who are just starting. Paul is really nice and I would recommend him to those who are beginners. He shows a really enthusiastic attitude towards teaching. Paul, for me, can make me feel heart – warmed towards the piano. He takes things a step at a time and eventually you’ll be flying through your grades with his help! I find him special because he seems different from other substitute pianists he appears to teach differently from other tutors and really tries to practice a bar at a time.”
